New Class!

Happy New Year, Drama Dragon Family!

It’s been a while since you heard from us, and we apologize about that.  Things have been rough, and we had to postpone the start of classes for a while simply because the cost to hold them was greater than the tuition we received from a very small amount of students.

But now, we’re starting a new class!  Its official title is currently TBD, but the focus of this class will be performing comedy improv!  We’ve done a lot of improv with this class, and the students have really improved since last Fall.  This time, however, we are going to train them up to perform a full-on improv show!  The details of that show are also TBD (because the class hasn’t even started yet), but it’s going to be a lot of fun!

When considering whether or not your student should join this class, keep in mind that this is generally an older, more experienced class, because improv can often be difficult.  Students will be required to think and react on-the-spot, play games they are unfamiliar with, listen to criticism and adjust their performances accordingly, and to accept that failure is a part of learning (even the most experienced players fail!).  Improv is loads of fun, but it is also hard work.  However, if you think your student is up for the challenge, they are welcome to come play with us, regardless of their age!  The experience level of our current roster ranges from 7+ years to none at all.

As of right now, the class will be held every other Monday (though it might become every Monday, depending on how the students feel about that), from 4:30-6:30pm in Parkland (ask Tyler Appleby for the address).  Tuition will be $20 a month per student.  If you are interested in joining the class or even just checking us out (a student’s first class is always free!), please contact Tyler at:

Hope to see you there!
